JOY-FILLED GENEROSITY

In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
Acts 20:35 NIV

Three easy ways to give;

Click the "GIVE" button above for recurring or a one-time gift.

Recurring giving is a weekly or monthly gift that is an ongoing, specific amount determined by you. Gifts can be made through your checking account (ACH) or credit card. These gifts provide a dependable source of support that Main Street Church can count on throughout the year.

Make a gift with your IRA

If you are 70½ years old or older, you can take advantage of a simple way to benefit Main Street Church and receive tax benefits in return. You can give up to $100,000 from your IRA directly to a qualified charitable institution such as ours without having to pay income taxes on the money. This popular gift option is commonly called the IRA charitable rollover, but you may also see it referred to as a qualified charitable distribution, or QCD for short.

Why Consider This Gift?

  • Your contribution will be put to use today, allowing you to see its immediate impact through Main Street!

  • You pay no income taxes on the gift. The transfer generates neither taxable income nor a tax deduction, so you benefit even if you do not itemize your deductions.

  • Beginning in the year you turn 72, you can use your gift to satisfy all or part of your required minimum distribution.

  • Since the gift doesn’t count as income, it can reduce your annual income level.
